They even had a rather unique cross verification method wherein their system was supposed to call the phone number I had given at the time of registration. That didn’t happen (probably cos the system didn’t know how to dial long distance), so they had an alternative - they wanted me to fax a copy of a form with an impression of the credit card number scratched using a pencil

For those of you who saw some downtime on this blog, my apologies. And btw, what’s with Vesana.com? I wrote to them more than thrice about closing my account but no one responded. I finally had to cut off my paypal payment and let the account get canceled due to non-payment. Anyway now I am with a professional web-host and hopefully my new site and gallery (with hi-res images) will be up soon. With 25 gigs of storage space, I don’t think I need to worry about downsizing/de-ressing my images for the gallery
