Finally got a new lens!

Paid 14k and got myself a Tamron Autofocus 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF). Yipee!

Also, got back from Mangalore on Thursday, last. Had a nice time and clicked plenty of snaps at the beach (no, not with the new lens). Now all is back to boredom.
